Remembrance Sunday is an important event in the Patriotic Alternative calendar and something we choose to commemorate each year. This year was no different and on Sunday 13th November 2022, activists from across Great Britain laid wreaths, attended parades and conducted ceremonies in remembrance of the sacrifice our ancestors made in fighting for their nation.

We were active across England, Scotland and Wales and many of our events were attended by forces personnel and veterans who wore their medals on show and carried out duties such as giving speeches and carrying flags. Below, you can find a selection of photographs from our events as well as two videos which were created by PA North West (coming shortly) and PA Wales.

Scotland

Members of Patriotic Alternative Scotland met in Glasgow to hold a service and lay a wreath for Remembrance Sunday.

After a moving speech from our Regional Organiser and a minute silence to remember the fallen of all the conflicts our people have been involved in, attendees held a banner stating "No More Brother Wars."

We will remember them.

Eastern

PA activists across the Eastern Region have been paying their respects for the fallen heroes on this day, Remembrance Sunday.

The service held here at Felixstowe was unusual in that the war memorial is right on the promenade. It was poignant that as nearly one thousand participants and observers fell silent for two minutes, the only sound was that of the gentle lapping of waves on the shingle beach.

Those of our kinfolk who made the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Activists of the Beds/Herts group spent a solemn and reflective afternoon visiting two war memorials within our area; one in Stevenage and one in the village of Harlington, to pay our respects and lay wreaths in honour of those who fought and died for us and our homeland.

They were both beautiful and dignified sites where a range of local people and groups had contributed wreaths and expressed their sentiments of gratitude and appreciation.

We were proud to have been able to take part in this ceremonial tradition and represent Patriotic Alternative.
Five activists from PA Essex travelled to Hornchurch to take part in the Remembrance Sunday service.

We laid a wreath with a simple yet powerful message, "No More Brother Wars".

Too many of our men have been lost due to the consequences of traitorous and greedy politicians. As racially aware nationalists the task falls to us to fight the system that is responsible.
PA activists in Norfolk attended the Remembrance Sunday service in Norwich city centre, possibly the largest ceremony in the Eastern Region.

After the formal parade and service, a wreath was laid on behalf of Patriotic Alternative to remember the fallen of WW1, WW2 and more recent conflicts.

May they never be forgotten.

Yorkshire

Yorkshire activists attended their own Remembrance Day service at the York City War Memorial

A sombre service with words from both Mark Collett and ex-serviceman Alek Yerbury. They reminded us of the sacrifices made by those before us and lessons learnt.

Afterwards we laid a token of our respect at the foot of a monument dedicated to the memory of our fallen kin. We concluded the day with a meal together nearby.

South West

Members of Patriotic Alternative South West met at Plymouth to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph by the sea front.

We gathered and reflected on the sacrifices and suffering that our people went through during the two World Wars.

We sombrely held a minute’s silence after listening to a speech, reflected on the brave servicemen who died for their country, and the innocents who died from the madness of the wars.

No more brother wars.

South East

We Will Remember Them

Activists across the South East paid their respects to the countless soldiers who gave their lives fighting for our country and our people. It's very difficult to find British families that managed to escape tragedy during these brother wars. They will never be forgotten.

West Midlands

Activists from the West Midlands attended a Remembrance day service at the National Memorial Arboretum.

A sombre yet touching service which reminded us of the heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Afterwards we laid a token of our respect at the foot of a monument dedicated to the memory of our fallen kin.

North East

PA activists were out over the last couple of days to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers who fought and died for our country and its people. You will never be forgotten for making the ultimate sacrifice in the hope to keep the men, women and children of this country free.

"When you go home, tell them of us and say, for their tomorrow we gave our today."

Wales

As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain,
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.

Joined Devonshire Regiment 6th April 1951 as a 15 year old boy soldier, retired from Army 1986.This song is about Sgt. Michael Willetts GC of 1 Para, who was KIA on 25th May 1971 trying to save civilians from a bomb in Springfield Rd Police Station Belfast. The civilians he saved spat at his mortally wounded body as he was stretchered away.
